Wedding Gifts for Sportsfans

Categories: Miscellaneous Posts

Think of the perfect sports couple. Both of them with sporting hobbies and they’ve just been voted by your community as “Most Likely to Join the Amazing Race”. Once they tell people that they’re engaged and will marry soon, people start looking for the perfect wedding gift.

Before looking for sports gifts, you have to snoop around or even ask directly if they plan on getting pregnant or they just want to tie the knot and still go on with their active lifestyle.

The traditional gifts include stuff that the couple can use at home when they start their life together, while the modern gift ideas include things that directly touch on their lifestyle when they were both still single. I would go for the modern gift ideas because, in this case, the common interest that the man and the woman share is something they both enjoy.

But instead of buying them a set of expensive golf clubs each, why not buy them a pair of big beach towels with logos of their favorite baseball teams. Also, you can buy them both back packs for hiking or water canteens. Your gift could also be something that’s not practical or functional, but rather collector’s items that they can put on display. Something like afghans and crocheted posters featuring photos of famous baseball players.
