Prepping for the Summer Party Catering Bonanza?

Want to hear something crazy? There’s a time of the year that trumps some of the more popular holidays in terms of group party revenue and travel industry profits. It’s the time between spring and summer, and the whole of the summer season!

Everyone wants to enjoy the sun, particularly after a long and bitterly cold winter.

Once the spring cleaning rituals are over, old summer canopies are taken out of the attic, and the grills are once again clean for some barbecue fun. Moreover, the students are having their end of the schoolyear break and up for some outdoor fun.

Think of families going to beaches and loving every minute of the summer break. It’s the time for backyard fun and barbecues, as well as tug-o-wars in the beach and mountain hiking escapades.

So, while everyone else is thinking of how to build muscle fast to achieve that gorgeous bikini body, this is the time for you to stock up on party items that will increase in price later on, such as kids sunglasses (for party giveaways and favors), beach towels and accessories, pinatas and summer theme party plates.

You might also want to scout the venues for availability, and for promos. Some resorts give early bird promos and even group packages. It’s nice to be in the know about these things just in case a client wants to plan a destination wedding during the bride season (June).

If you’ve ever attended any of the trade shows in your locality, it’s the best way to network with fellow entrepreneurs, particularly the candle makers, fruit suppliers, sellers of handcrafted bags, homemade soap makers and many more! At the very least you’re going to find a good beads supplier in your area.
