So many business owners now are wondering what a pressrelease is and why distributing one is potentially more valuable than any advertising that you can buy. Basically, a pressrelease is something you distribute to the media to announce your new party business.

The best thing is, a pressrelease campaign can be started on any budget. If you’re a do-it-yourselfer, you have an internet connection and a good word processor, you can do it at home. Just make sure you know who to contact, and how much it will cost to get your name in print. If you’re doing it via the internet, much better. Just be in the know when it comes to the popular local websites that the people around you are visiting.

You need to get your party biz started fast, so you also need a website to point your audience to. Again, you can DIY or you can hire someone to write content for you and/or distribute your releases for you.

There are so many ways to structure an information website, but the most important elements should be the perks of availing of your services and the background of your business. If it’s a party product you’re selling, you can structure your site like some of the review websites out thre (e.g. colonix review etc.).

In summary…

A PR should provide information your audience needs, a website must represent your company well, and your goal must be to find a good venue to market your releases.
