Gifts for Her on Valentines Day – Three Tips to Choosing a Gift

Categories: Gift Ideas, Gift Tip of the Day

Many of us give with the best of intentions, but never realize that the gifts we are about to give are truly nightmares in disguise. No one ever means to make such a mistake, especially the men who want to give only the best presents to women they love.

With that said, here are some ideas if you’re looking for unique gifts for her on Valentines Day.

1. Diet Books

Unless she specifically asked you, don’t give her diet books, even if it’s written by one of the top diet specialists in the country. Never give an item that subtly hints at what you want her to change about herself. Tired of hearing whether or not a dress makes her look fat? This gift will point directly at her insecurities and make her feel horrible.

2. Don’t give something that shows how little thought you put into your gift.

Don’t give stud earrings if she doesn’t have pierced ears. Don’t give her a bag that clashes with every item in her closet. If you want to give her an accessory, observe her favorite colors and the clothes she wears every day to get an idea of what she really likes.

3. If she’s superstitious, don’t give something that goes against a popular gift giving superstition.

You might scoff at most of the superstitious stuff about giving gifts. You know, like how you should never give someone a wallet that doesn’t have at least a dollar in it. Or, don’t give someone shoes because she might walk all over you. Total BS, right? Right. But what if she doesn’t think so? If your lady love believes in this or that superstition, don’t give a gift that goes against it.
