Bachelorette Party Ideas: Summer Shawl Pool Party
Contrary to what we know as a “conventional” bachelorette party, not all single ladies’ parties are held at night. It all depends on what kind of mood the soon-to-be-married single girl wants to create. For a girl who has already had her share of night outs and clubbing, a special day-time party for her close friends is a good respite.
So what types of parties can you throw during the day. Considering it’s summer, the next best thing to going to the tropics is to enjoy a nice bathing suit party with your friends, either on the beach or in your backyard (if you own a pool).
But to make this idea work, there has to be a theme… I’m calling it ‘Summer Shawl Party’ for bachelorettes.
Theme Details
Every girl brings a swimsuit and a shawl and that’s what she’s going to wear for the party. Wide-brimmed hats are optional, and they can bring as many flowers to adorn their hair with as they can. Big, superstar sunglasses are a must, and suntan lotion (besides the shawl and the bathing suit) is a requirement for entry.
The shawl part is for everyone to feel comfortable without feeling so exposed (especially if the party is on the beach). The shawl may also prevent girls from feeling self-conscious (like when they have pimples or they’ve just used some of the stuff mentioned in pronexin reviews).
Food
In the spirit of Cinco de Mayo, your food choices can be tex-mex. This means tacos, chicken fingers, tossed salad and lots of watermelon. For drinks, you can hire a bartender to mix tequila sunrise, mai tai and mint julep for you and your friends.
Activities
Talk, talk and more talk! The objective is to spend a relaxing afternoon out in the sun with close friends so you can talk about memories of your single life and the future.
