How to Throw a Party Like a Pro

Bring Business Cards to Parties

If you are a party planner, you should know that your presence in a party is a marketing opportunity. Remember, if your client liked your service, he will recommend you to his friends. This kind of exposure can spell the difference between being in operation for a decade or disappearing after a few gigs. What can you do to maximize your chances of snagging more customers during parties? Bring a box containing your plastic business card or your paper business cards.

Paper cards are the conventional ones, and you may already have stacks of these in your desk. But plastic ones are the more modern counterpart. These are less likely to get wet during or after the party. Can you imagine if there’s a pool around and your potential customers jump in regardless of the fact that your paper calling card is in their pockets? You lose your chance of being remembered as the savvy party planner who made it all possible.

The best calling cards have photos on them for better name and face recall. Even if the potential clients forget your name, they will still remember your face. The only downside of printing on plastic is that it can be expensive as well as difficult to find a printer that can do this for you. The obvious solution is to order these in bulk from a provider whether online or offline.
